Join the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (HLWW) FFA and Wright County Public Health Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) for a free event to discuss opioid misuse and its impact on the Wright County community. This event will be held on March 19 from 6:00-8:30 pm in the HLWW High School Commons. The keynote speaker is Dr. Chris Johnson, emergency physician at Methodist Hospital and author of a TEDx Talk on the opioid epidemic.

Dr. Johnson’s presentation will be followed by a panel discussion of professionals from CentraCare Health – Monticello, Central Minnesota Mental Health, Farm Bureau, and Howard Lake Police Department, as well as an occupational therapist. Refreshments and conversation will follow.
